I'll always have fond memories of Michael... like the time he stopped by to say hello; as usual, he was well groomed & dressed impeccably. I on the otherhand, was in the middle of re-painting the master bedroom, Michael decided he should help... there he was, looking like he'd walked out of a photo shoot with GQ, rolling paint on my walls and he never spilled a drop! My condolences go out to his entire family; we'll all miss Michael very much.

To My Michael, In our lives, you have cut down trees for my Mama, taught me how to swim, and burned up the phones lines from Maryland to Statesboro while we were in college. You helped me through being a widow at 24, and fighting for my children in divorce at 33. We have been through the illnesses of our parents together. We helped one another though your long illness finding out that our bond was a strong one. Our lives had come full circle, able to have a last dance. At the end, knowing that we were always soul mates and knowing what the other needed even when we didn't know ourselves. Our friendship and bond was not ever broken by circumstances but groomed through the many many years to grow and be stronger. Know that I will always love you! You were my best friend indeed!
